Lara at 3 months: Nibble Nibble

So, Lara has started to nibble up a storm.  She nibbles at her hands; she nibbles at her gloves (when I put them on her) and she puts everything I give her into her mouth just so that she can nibble some more!

Here, she's just started to nibble on a teether I got her yesterday.  She is not sure about the taste of it and makes an obvious disgusted face, but it seems to relieve her gums, so she continues, albeit reluctantly.
Oh!  And she drools constantly.  How could I leave that part out??!!  Drool Drool... drool all around.
She was kept quite amused with her teething toy yesterday.

Then she realized that if she took two hands, she could maneuver it and push it farther and farther into her mouth!  Until of course she choked herself and created some more yogurt for Mommy!  :)  

Lara at 3 months: My first Group Date

MY FIRST GROUP DATE IN "MARQUAND PARK"

Lara & I had such a nice time at Marquand Park.  We got there around 6pm, even though we were supposed to be there at 5:30pm.  It was actually quite a task finding the Entrance to the park.  I think I must have passed by that park a thousand times earlier and never even knew that it was a park!!
Finallly after going all around the park twice, Mommy (I) decided to slow down a bit and take my time.  And lo and behold, there was the entrance to the park.

It is such a hole in the wall that expands, like the hole Alice fell into in "Alice in Wonderland".  I absolutely love the Park. I will most definitely go back there with Anurag.  :)  I didn't do the walkways and trails, because it started to get dark out... but I will make it there this weekend in the afternoon and stroll around a bit.

The Play date was a hit!  Lara stared a few people down and made friends... very similar to what her Daddy does when he makes friends.  She shot them a signature Smile and won them over instantly.  :)

Of course she was a giant compared to all the other kids... but they say that this will eventually even out when all the kids turn about 1 year.  I have to admit though, that her being a bit bigger helps me out... she doesn't feel so delicate, and I'm not afraid to handle her.  :)

Lara at 3 months: Having fun in my Tub!

Every morning Lara gets a bath, bright and early around 6am!  Trust me, it is not by choice that I have been giving her a bath this early in the morning.  The little monster wakes up all "bright eyed and bushy tailed" and wants to talk and scream with laughter every morning.

So, since I'm awake anyway with all the ruckus, I decided that she would have lots of fun in her tub early in the morning; and that she does!  She giggles, kicks the water, and screams with laughter.

In this picture, she is looking at Daddy and laughing at his goofiness before he goes off to work for another long long day.  At least Daddy gets a good smile and laugh before he heads to work!

Ever since she's been having a bath early in the morning, she is less cranky and sleeps well during her morning nap times.
